Dr. Goldman is a licensed psychologist specializing in health and wellness, including health behavior change, obesity, weight management, eating behaviors, and stress reduction. Dr. Goldman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine and has a private practice in NYC where she sees individual clients and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients in behavioral changes that promote healthier and happier lives.
Before starting her private practice and doing consulting work, Dr. Goldman served as Senior Psychologist at Bellevue Center for Obesity & Weight Management at Bellevue Hospital where she provided short- and long-term outpatient individual and group psychotherapy (i.e. cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing) for adults and adolescents, specializing in weight management, body image, disordered eating behaviors, and other health-related behaviors.
